Configuring Your Email Notifications with CourseMaker

Because CourseMaker payments are configured with Stripe, we use Stripe's email notification functionality. You just need to ensure that your Stripe account has the correct settings toggled on. Here is a breakdown:

1. Receive Notifications Upon Successful Student Payment

In order to get an email when:

  • A student buys your course
  • You receive a scheduled payout
  • A payment is disputed by a student

You can setup your email preferences in the Stripe dashboard

2. Send emails to your Students To Confirm Course/Membership Purchases

You can configure when students will receive an email for:

  • Successful payments
  • Refunds
  • Reminders about card detail expiry
  • Which email address student replies go to

This is all via the Stripe customer emails dashboard

3. Customize your Invoice Look & Branding

In the Stripe settings -> branding dashboard you can configure the look of the invoices sent to your students.
